Release Type: UAT
This UAT release applies to Enterprise customers only. Other customers can look forward to these improvements in the next release.
Feature Spotlight: Exports 2.0
The wait is finally over! We've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you some major enhancements to our exports system which are sure to streamline your workflow. Our brand-new Export Template Builder is leagues above its predecessor, allowing you to create and customize export templates with ease. With its intuitive interface and powerful features, you'll be able to craft exactly the right template for your needs - be it a complex PDF or a simple CSV. Plus, our auto-save functionality means that you never have to worry about losing progress again.
But that's not all - we're also introducing a revamped Export Template Selector that gives you even more control over your export experience. Now, you can filter Export Templates by format, customize the order in which they appear in the selector, and even send exports directly via email to share with colleagues or clients. This new experience is designed to save you time and effort, so you can focus on what matters most.
And for our users who work with Jobs, we're excited to announce that PDF and GeoJSON Export Templates are now live! With these new formats, you'll finally be able to export all the same ways as you’re used to for Requests. We've added a Default PDF and Default GeoJSON Export Template to the built-in templates, making it easy to get started right away. Plus, with our new ability to create PDF and GeoJSON Export Templates for Jobs in the Export Template builder, you'll have even more flexibility to tailor your exports to meet your specific needs.
Feature Spotlight: Archiving Requests
A new level of security and organization is coming your way! We're excited to introduce the ability to archive Requests that have been Accepted or Rejected, ensuring that historic data is protected while still meeting your data retention standards. This feature allows you to mark specific Requests as "archived", making them read-only for added security.
With the introduction of this new feature, we've also made some key changes to how Requests are managed. You'll now see a new 'Archived' status on the Requests manager page (Web app only), and we've added a new permission called 'Archive Requests', which is granted by default to the 'Owner' role and above. To make things convenient, we’ve also updated the edit Request screen to use a status selector rather than the previous Accept/Reject buttons, giving you easy access to archive your Requests with just a few clicks.
