Grunt.AI is a Gruntify add‑on that brings AI-powered agents directly into your workspace.
These bespoke agents are designed specifically for Gruntify and help you optimize your work like never before. Unlike general-purpose AI tools, Grunt.AI is embedded in Gruntify and focused on improving your day‑to‑day productivity inside the platform.

What Grunt.AI Does

Grunt.AI works through a set of specialized “agents” that live inside different areas of Gruntify. Each agent understands Gruntify concepts and best practices, and can:

• Understand natural-language instructions

• Propose or implement changes (for example, to forms or dashboards)

• Use relevant Gruntify context (such as form configuration) to complete tasks

As new Grunt.AI agents are introduced, they will appear in relevant parts of the product. We already have plans for several new agents in our roadmap.

Two agents are available, each with its own guide:

• Form Builder Agent — design and improve forms by describing what you need in plain English.

• Dashboard Builder Agent — build a reporting dashboard from a conversation, with the agent choosing the reports, setting their filters and arranging them on the dashboard for you.

Dictating Your Instructions

Every Grunt.AI agent uses the same conversation panel, so you can talk your instructions instead of typing them wherever an agent is available. This is useful when you want to describe something at length.

1. Select the microphone button beside the message box, below the send button. Its tooltip reads Start dictation.

2. Talk naturally. Your words appear in the message box as you speak, and the box cannot be typed in while dictation is running.

3. Select the microphone button again, where the tooltip now reads Stop dictation, to finish.

Anything you had already typed is kept, and your speech is added to it. Once dictation stops you can edit the text with your keyboard before you send it. If you do not see the microphone button, type your instructions instead.

Usage Limits

To ensure reliable performance and a fair distribution of resources, Grunt.AI usage is governed by a daily token limit:

• Limit: 500,000 tokens per workspace per day

• What is a token? Roughly, tokens represent fragments of text sent to and from the AI model (both your prompts and the model’s responses).

• What happens at the limit?

  • Once your workspace reaches the daily token limit, the conversation panel shows a Chat Limit Reached message telling you how long until the allowance resets, and Grunt.AI features will temporarily stop responding.

  • Usage automatically resets at midnight UTC time; no manual action is required.

Grunt.AI shows how much of the daily allowance your workspace has used while you are working. Once a conversation is under way, a usage ring sits next to the New Conversation button at the bottom of the conversation panel and fills as the allowance is consumed. Select the ring to open a Daily AI usage summary with a progress bar, the tokens used against the daily limit in thousands, and the percentage used. The figures cover the whole workspace rather than your own conversations alone, and appear once the agent has sent its first response.

If you experience unexpected pauses in Grunt.AI responses, check whether your workspace may have reached this daily limit.

Content & Safety Policy

Grunt.AI is powered by Azure OpenAI and inherits Microsoft’s default Azure OpenAI content filtering. This means:

• All prompts and responses are automatically screened for unsafe or disallowed content.

• Harmful, abusive, or highly sensitive content may be blocked, rewritten, or refused by the AI model.

• Filtering is managed by Azure OpenAI and cannot be disabled per workspace.

In addition:

• Scope of use: Grunt.AI is intended only for Gruntify functionality and productivity.

  • Use it to help with configuring forms, workflows, data collection processes, and operational text related to your Gruntify use cases.

  • Do not use Grunt.AI as a general-purpose content generator unrelated to your Gruntify environment.

• No external training: Data processed by Grunt.AI is used to provide responses and carry out actions for your workspace and is not used to train public, consumer AI models.
