What is a Form?

A form is an e-document that contains a series of tabs and fields that your field workers use for requests, jobs, or assets, and the controllers will use for reports and exports. In short, when you want to specify the information you need to collect, you do it by creating a form. This form includes different fields where users input the required data.

Creating a Form

To create a form, you can easily use the Gruntify drag and drop form builder to digitize your paper forms. You can build on a ready-made form from the template library and adjust it to suit your needs or create your own form from scratch.

Alternatively, you can use our Artificial Intelligence powered Form Builder Agent to build a form from scratch in no time. It’s extensive knowledge of field work and asset management domains makes it perfect for creating complex, standards-aligned forms in minutes. All you need to do to unlock it is enable the Grunt.AI addon, which is free during the trial period.

For extensive information on how to create a form, the Form Management section of the Help Center covers tutorials that run through all the field controls and some of the configuration options that you can use in your forms.

We can also convert your existing paper forms for you. Contact the Gruntify sales team for help.

The two video tutorials on this page will show you how to create and publish your own form from scratch or from a form template. For a printable guide to the field controls, download the Forms Control Guide below.
